For Cops, By Cops - Peer to peer education and training

Many officers in Southwestern PA  have a recognized talent or skill they’ve honed and polished over the years. Maybe it’s de-escalation or interviewing techniques, or gun handling, handcuffing, mental health support, or simply community report. What would happen if we gave them a platform and support to teach a class to other officers who need that skill and make it across department and county lines ? And do it for free? 

That is the premis of the For Cops, By cops training series.
 

The law enforcement community will benefit from the shared knowledge and those teaching would feel they’ve made a difference to the area as a whole. 

There is a number of areas that we already have classes and sessions lined up and more on being added all the time.
